This week, Greece reached a significant clean energy milestone when the nation’s grid operator reported that for the first time, all of the nation’s electricity came from renewable sources. The independent power transmission operator IPTO of the nation certified that for a five-hour period last weekend, renewable energy sources completely satisfied the nation’s energy needs.
