The delivery of 50 new zero emission buses, which are expected to reduce fuel costs and air pollution throughout the city, marked a significant advancement in Coventry’s £150 million aim to become the first all-electric bus city in the UK. The project has also received £50 million in funding from the Department for Transport to build charging infrastructure. It is being carried out by Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) and Coventry City Council.
