After country delegations agreed on the formal agenda for the fortnight-long negotiations and more than 100 world leaders arrived in Sharm El Sheikh to attend the high-level leaders’ section of the talks, the COP27 Climate Summit got off to a generally positive start.
Agendas included in the official negotiations include:
- Loss and Damage for developing countries
- Climate funding from industrialized nations
- Funding to support green tech innovation and clean energy
